How To Jailbreak iOS 9.1 On iPad Pro [4K Tutorial]
14th March 2016If you are a lucky owner of a 64-Bit iDevice running iOS 9.1 you are able to jailbreak it! The first Jailbreak for the iPad Pro! Pangu team released the jailbreak for iOS 9.1 devices only because they had a kernel bug which worked in iOS 9.1 and was patched by Apple in iOS 9.2 and over. It’s important to note that since Apple is no longer signing iOS 9.1 firmware, if you are on a version above (iOS 9.2, 9.2.1, 9.3) or below (9.0.2) iOS 9.1 firmware, you can’t upgrade/downgrade to it. Compatible iOS devices: iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air 1, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPod touch 6.  Requirements: Make sure that all of your data has been backed up to iTunes or iCloud. iOS 9.1 running on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Latest version of iTunes installed on your Mac or Windows. Download Pangu iOS 9.1 jailbreak for Windows and Mac from here. Instructions: Step  To begin, simply connect your iOS device to the computer and launch iTunes. Next up, turn on Airplane Mode from the Control Center, followed by switching off Find My iPhone. You can do that by heading over to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone and disabling the feature. Disable your device’s Passcode and Touch ID unlock. Head over to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and tapping Turn Passcode Off. Now launch the Pangu9 tool you downloaded earlier and hit the Start button to begin the jailbreaking process. When asked, simply click on ‘Already backup’ to continue. Jailbreak process will now start. During the process, an app named Pangu will appear on your iOS device’s Home screen. Once the device reboots automatically, you will be asked to unlock the device and turn on Airplane Mode again. Once done, the jailbreak process will continue again. Next, you will be asked to run Pangu app. Once done, wait for the tool to finish the jailbreak process. Once the jailbreak process is complete and successful, you will get “Jailbreak completed” message on the tool and your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will restart, after which you should see Cydia app icon appear on the Home screen.   Resources: [redmondpie] [...]

Developer shows off iOS 9.3 beta jailbreak [no release yet] (STATUSUPDATE)
14th January 2016It looks as if iOS 9.3 beta 1 has already been jailbroken, which lends hope that a public version of an iOS 9.3.x jailbreak may be possible. But don’t hold your breath; this is the same hacker/developer (Luca Todesco) that recently shared a screenshot of a jailbroken iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.1. He previously made it clear that he has no intention of sharing, and it doesn’t look like that’s changing anytime soon. TaiG Rumored to Be Working on an iOS 9.2 Jailbreak If you have been following the news lately, you would remember that 3K Assistant, jailbreak partner of TaiG, had recently posted an announcement on their blog saying that they had managed to jailbreak iOS 9.2 after much struggle and that the jailbreak would be released soon. This announcement caused a lot of excitement in the community, but soon came a sudden change in the track. The post was modified by 3K Assistant a few days later, and the jailbreak part was totally removed. It now suggested that no jailbreak was found yet. This move was disappointing, but also made us curious as to why 3K Assistant modified  their own words so quickly. Possibilities say that TaiG has worked out the iOS 9.2 jailbreak  but wants to provide support for iOS 9.2.1 when it is released publicly, which is why they don’t want to make the jailbreak public yet. It is also possible that TaiG wants to wait until iOS 9.3 is released, and we might as well get a TaiG 9.3 jailbreak. Another reason for the change in the announcement can be that TaiG and 3K Assistant have ended their partnership, but that cannot be confirmed as of now. iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak Found But Not Released Luca Todesco, a popular hacker, had recently posted a screenshot on his Twitter handle to prove that he had got iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak while it was still in the beta phase. The screenshot showed Cydia running on iOS 9.2.1 beta in a jailbroken iPhone 6. While this excited the whole iOS community, Luca announced that he would not be releasing the jailbreak. // In the video, Todesco shows off some of the new iOS 9.3 beta 1 features that Apple released earlier today, including the new Night Shift mode for changing the gamma values of the iPhone’s screen.Like I said, the likelihood of this ever arriving on public iPhones is slim to none, but it’s interesting nonetheless. Let’s hope that someone else will be kind enough to provide us with a future jailbreak. Soruce: Soruce: [idownloadblog] [...]
iOS 9.2.1 (beta) Has Been Jailbroken – no release (yet)
7th January 2016Luca Todesco has managed to Jailbreak iOS 9.2.1 and posted a screenshot of Cydia running on the iPhone 6 to prove that it was up and running on his device. While Todesco’s tweet that accompanied the screenshot of Cydia running on his iPhone 6 may have claimed “no releases”, it at least shows that iOS 9.2.1 is still very much exploitable. Sadly it looks like there will be no release yet since iOS 9.2.1 is still beta. Evidence of iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak: The very mention of “no releases” has been enough for some individuals to throw their arms up in the air and vent frustration via direct replies to that particular tweet. However, considering iOS 9.2.1 is still in betas, there’s still a chance that we could see a public release when it is eventually deemed ready for showtime by Apple. There’s nothing to suggest that Todesco hasn’t found a vulnerability, exploited it and plans to pass that on to other teams to produce a publicly consumable jailbreak package. The Italian developer actually has previous form when it comes that kind of input into a jailbreak. He may not have been explicitly mentioned or part of any publicity, but he did actually have a fairly significant input into the production of the Pangu9 jailbreak that Apple patched with iOS 9.1. He also worked on iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak, which while never became available in the form of an easy-to-use tool, Todesco did release the source code for it on GitHub. A lot of developers and security researchers are purely interested in finding the holes in the system. They then leave it up to someone else to produce the software that delivers the payload capable of exploiting those holes. We can only hope that it’s the same this time around. There is of course a large number of doubters who contest the legitimacy of the screenshot of Cydia running on iOS 9.2.1. In an attempt to combat those naysayers, Todesco has also posted a screenshot of the kernel dumps for iOS 9.2.1 in an attempt to show it’s the real deal. [...]
