I hope we can convince @firecore why a jailbreak will still be essential for ATV4 to be useful ? otherwise ATV2 is end of days for ATV jb.

XBMC Addons Installation Tutorial:
Now, open XBMC on your Apple TV.
Navigate to the “Settings” menu under the “SYSTEM” heading.
Select the “Add-ons” option on the left menu.
Click the “Install from zip file” function.
Open the “Home folder” icon.
Click the “Applications” icon.
Select each of the addon ZIP files listed in the “Applications” folder one by one in order to install them, you’ll need to start from Step 8 after each one.

:
1. did you reboot TETHERED ??
2. did you run th nitoTV Installer again ?
3. did you restore the Apple tv Again with seas0npass ?
4. open Terminal and type ssh root@AppleTVsIP
type “alpine” as password

apt-get install com.nito.nitoTV

killall AppleTV
5. Apple TV’S Ip could have changed after a reboot check it again.
